Leading fleece specialist Cat’land is a French family business founded in 2000 and located around 100 km from Lyon. The textile converter works with several business in France’s Roanne region and sells more than 500,000 metres annually. Monthly production capacity is 100,000 metres and Cat’land can stock up to 70,000 metres.

The business founded by Jean-Luc Kowalski presents a wide range of knits for the homewear, activewear, sportswear and childrenswear markets. Products include 130g to 330g/m2 fleece; recycled fleeces using eco-friendly Seaqual™ made with plastic waste from the oceans; bamboo jersey; poly/cotton velour; fancy fabrics; long-napped fabrics; and more. Cat’land presents two collections yearly and is also ready to work with customers on specific projects.

Cat’land is flexible and quick to meet client needs with stock service, low minimum order requirements (around 100 metres), deliveries within two weeks for some articles, and split deliveries.

The company exports 40 percent of output. Sales in Italy are currently expanding. The Cat’land client portfolio includes renowned brands such as Petit Bateau, IKKS, Lingerie Le Chat, Gruppo Intimo, Hilco, and Béaba/Red Castle.
